Ear Candling If you’re tired of the heavy feeling of blocked or itchy ears, ear candling is the solution for you. By removing earwax and cleansing the ear canal, this treatment is relaxing and great for easing a whole host of ear-related problems. Using unbleached cotton and pure beeswax, our hollow candles create a chimney-like effect where rising air vibrations massage the eardrum. This ear candling process aids secretion in the frontal and paranasal sinuses to leave you free of wax. Previous clients at our spa have commented on how they experience a pleasant crackling and rustling sound during the first phase of treatment, where a high level of relaxation can be gained. A lymphatic drainage massage to the head and face completes the treatment. How often do we recommend having such a treatment? Every 3 to 6 months is advisable but please use your own judgement. 6-8 weeks is ideal to help with excess build-up. Ear candling is ideal for those who suffer from: Tinnitus Sinusitis Earache Migraine/Headaches Stress Vertigo Snoring Balance Otitis externa Tropical Ear/Swimmers Ear BUT it’s less suitable for those who have: Perforation of the eardrum Presence of grommet Acute infection of the ear Antibiotics being used for the ear, nose and throat infection Just undergone deep dental work (please wait a few days).
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy. If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the treatment there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled spa day or treatment there is a 50 percent cancellation or the offer of an alternative date. Cancellations with less that 72 hours notice will be charged a flat 50 percent cancellation fee. Please note if you cancel a voucher with less than 72 hours notice you will not be offered an alternative date. One cancellation is allowed only then you will be offered a voucher or a rescheduled booking Cancellation of Food an Beverage please note Afternoon teas and lunches can not be refunded with less than 72 Hours notice. * During cancellations due to covid we are offering either a reschedule or Gift vouchers.
